Refund Policy

At TiKi Water Bikes, we understand that plans may change. This Refund Policy explains when a booking may qualify for a refund, how refunds are processed, and which payments are non-refundable.

Refund Eligibility

Guests may be eligible for a full refund when a cancellation request is received at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking time, same-day cancellations, and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.

All refund requests are subject to the terms outlined in our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

Weather-Related Refunds

Water biking is an outdoor activity. Light wind, clouds, cooler temperatures, or light rain do not automatically qualify a booking for a refund.

TiKi Water Bikes may delay, reschedule, or cancel a ride when weather, water conditions, poor visibility, strong winds, storms, smoke, or other safety concerns make operating unsafe.

When TiKi Water Bikes cancels a booking for safety reasons, guests may choose one of the following options:

  • Reschedule the booking to another available date and time

  • Receive a credit for a future ride

  • Receive a refund to the original payment method

The final decision regarding safe operating conditions is made by the TiKi Water Bikes team.

Operator Cancellations

If TiKi Water Bikes cancels a reservation because of equipment issues, operational circumstances, emergencies, unsafe conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control, affected guests may be offered:

  • A new booking date

  • A future booking credit

  • A full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances

We will make every reasonable effort to contact affected guests as soon as possible.

Late Arrivals and Shortened Rides

Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled ride to allow time for check-in, life-jacket fitting, and safety instructions.

Late arrivals may result in a shorter riding period so that other reservations are not affected. Refunds, partial refunds, or additional riding time cannot be provided when a ride is shortened because a guest arrives late.

No-Shows

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled reservation and do not contact TiKi Water Bikes will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund, credit, or complimentary rescheduling.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Bookings made using a gift certificate remain subject to the same cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show conditions as other reservations.

When an eligible booking made with a gift certificate is cancelled, the value may be returned as booking credit rather than refunded in cash.

Group Bookings and Special Events

Group reservations, private events, and larger bookings may have separate deposit, cancellation, and refund conditions.

Any additional terms will be communicated during the booking process or included in the group booking agreement.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the booking.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or credit card company. After a refund has been approved, it may take several business days for the funds to appear in the guest’s account.

TiKi Water Bikes is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or third-party payment providers.

Booking Fees and Third-Party Charges

Certain booking, transaction, or third-party service fees may be non-refundable.

When applicable, any non-refundable fees will be displayed during the booking process or deducted from the approved refund amount.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact TiKi Water Bikes and provide:

  • The name used for the reservation

  • The scheduled booking date and time

  • The booking confirmation number

  • The reason for the refund request

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed according to this Refund Policy and our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
